is at the consumer products safety commission. >> good morning. the consumer products safety commission an canada are announcing these recalls, a lot of fisher-price brand name items here. we begin with 7 million fisher-price trikes and tough trikes sold in the u.s. and canada. the trikes have a protruding plastic key known to cause injury to children's genitals. they are intended for children between the ages of 2 and 5, sold from january of '97 through september 2010. if you have one, fisher-price will replace that key. also replacing more than a million healthy care, easy clean and close to me high chairs. there are pegs on the back of the legs meant for storage and reports of at least 14 children being injured after falling on or against those pegs. fisher-price recalling more than 3 million infant toys sold under a number of names, baby play zone, gymnastics, ocean wonders, a choking hazard there and 120,000 little people wheelies because they can come off and cause a choking hazard. fisher-price this morning said it wants to assure its customers its products are overwhelmingly safe. we talk

for the east cost of the united states. but what is earl dumping on canada? fox 5's glen talbot and american is in the weather center with the latest. >> reporter: it went right over nova scotia and my mother is there. i called her. she said plenty of rainfall and some really strong winds hit her area. let's take a look at earl right now. because it actually has maximum sustained winds at 65 miles per hour. racing northeast over the gulf of st. lawrence expected to pass over the extreme north eastern portion of quebec and newfoundland over the course of the night. still tropical storm warnings there, however. power outages and downed trees is what happened across the province of nova scotia as well. once it moves into the colder waters over the next 24 hours or so it will lose its tropical characteristics. here at home things are a lot calmer. pretty nice conditions. plenty of sunshine. a few clouds skirting to the north of us. other than that not bad. under the influence of a nice ridge of high pressure. the current temperatures 74 at national. 64 at baltimore. and 65 in dulles. and taking

study out of canada found women are quicker with an apology than men but not for the reasons you might think. the fascinating part of the study is that they actually showed just random scenarios and of those scenarios, women perceived more of them needing an apology. so, it's not that men don't want to apologize, it's just that they look at a situation, they don't see it as apology-worthy, whereas women do. >> reporter: hear that, ladies? it's not that your man atrade to poll geez, he just doesn't know when he needs to. >> women are a lot more considerate than men. they are always worried about offending their friends or their significant others so they're much more apt to apologize for things that would never bother a guy. >> reporter: you are apologizing because you mean it or to placate her? >> because i mean it. >> reporter: while it may be difficult for men to realize they're in the wrong, getting into the right is actually pretty easy. >> some men don't apologize enough. i don't see what the big deal is. if it is going to quell a situation and make everything okay, just say those
